What would the first GW say?

How far has this country fallen? Lets take a look back on history. 1776. General George Washington faught the British for our independence. He faught to free the new colonies from big government rule. He faught to let everyone choose their own destiny. He faught to give us freedom. And he faught for a better way of life.

The imperialist British were levying heavy taxes upon the colonists and trying to impose their ways on citizens who turned their backs on big government, a socialist way of life, and oppression in many instances where they could not practice their faith without being ridiculed or punished.

Turn the clocks ahead to today and look where we are. Right back to where the europeans are. Not free, oppressed, god-less, and giving in to other peoples thoughts and ways of life.

If George Washington were alive today, he would call us all traitors. He would have us all executed for treason. He would not stand up for anything less than true freedom. A nation built on little government, low or no taxation, and rules which are enforced.

The next time you think freedom means no laws, no responsibility, think again. The first president of the United States had the right vision and any future president should follow his lead.

1) To be free, we should not rely on government for any form of assistance.
2) To be free, we should obey the laws and have them enforced.
3) To get ahead in life and achieve ones success, EARN IT.
4) Live within ones financial means and not live in debt.
5) Don't blame others for problems that you created. Take responsibily for your own mistakes and learn from them.
6) Take control of your own life and do not expect others to lead your life for you.
7) Keep learning. When you stop learning you stop growing.
8) Believe in a strong united family, not divided and disfunctional.
9) Keep life simple. Complicating matters only compounds problems.
10) Have faith and keep a positive focus on life and all will be well in the end.

Say no to socialism, reckless behavior, avoid trouble, and immoral thought, and you will be free.
