Taxation There are two amendments to the United States constitution that need to be repealed. One is the right to an abortion. The other is the tax code. Taxation without representation is illegal, yet we are being forced to pay taxes for services we do not use or want. Taxation should be voluntary. Or user friendly. To pay into a social security program so others can benefit from is ridiculous. Taxes should be paid by those who actually use the services. A national user tax on everything is the fairest way to pay for services. The income tax code is full of loopholes which allow for fraud and corruption. Many people find ways to completely write off everything, and owe no taxes. This is why a user tax is the fairest way to go. This would be revenue neutral, and would involve no paperwork every year for people and businesses to fill out. A flat tax would be applied to everything: goods sold, services rendered, and all other forms of business transactions. This would put an end to an unfair and unbalanced distribution of taxes and provide more revenues in the long run as people will have more money to spend without having it taken away in the form of income taxes.
