Male Role Models Where are they? In todays society, strong men are nowhere to be found on television, in print, or in the media. Anywhere. But there are plenty of shows that put women, hispanics, blacks, and other culture up on a pedestal while at the same time poking fun at, demeaning, and moking men and boys. These kinds of programs do not give young boys any positive enforcement. And in the good likelihood that boy is raised by a woman and there is no permanent male figure in the home (his biological dad), then the chances are that boy will not have any structure, discipline, or a strong mental will to do right later on in life. With the feminist movement successfully corrupting the media, the broadcast industry has taken off programs that put men and boys in a positive light. Shows that portrayed men as a strong leader and could do no wrong. Shows that gave boys and men a confidence build-up. Shows that defined what men used to be. Gone. And in its place? Sex, drugs, violence, and sensationalism. Programs that cater to women and emphasizes lack of morals, lack of discipline, and has made a negative impact on the way society is today.
