Another fallout of liberalism is the way we raise a family, or avoid to. The issue is who should be there, and who should take care of kids. Lately, many parents are opting out of it entirely.
How irresponsible is that? Especially when it comes down to family? But then again, that is what the liberal montra stands for, irresponsible behavior towards everyone.
Noone wants to take the time to be with their own kids. Noone wants to be there in times of need. Instead, parents pass kids off on grandparents, aunts, day care, or some other person.
Is it no surprise that passing off on family like that has led to a rise in trouble-making kids, abuse, and lack of discipline? Something unheard of before the 1970s.
How irresponsible we are towards our own family has longterm consequenses as well. These kids develop a negative, and violent, mindset that it is ok to get away with certain actions because auntie let a few things slide. Or day care centers either abuse kids or fail to address health concerns and do harm to kids.
The lack of parenting will come back to haunt these irresponsible parents as kids resort to antisocial behavior and crime. And as grown ups, repeat these same mistakes compounding problems even more.
Smart parents still do the right thing. A household where there is one income and one parent stays home all the time used to be the norm. Something responsible parents today understand is necessary to raise a family.
Try it. You will be pleasantly surprised in the change of attitude by your kids. And the longterm picture will be much brighter as well.
